The Appraisal Institute of Canada grants two professional designations – the Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI) and the Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA).
The CRA designation qualifies professionals to complete any valuation and consultation assignment on dwellings containing no more than four self-contained family-housing units or on individual undeveloped residential dwelling sites.
Those with the AACI designation are qualified to undertake any valuation and consulting assignment that is residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, land and special use properties.
